Introduction
Commercial disputes involving business valuation often require experts to either prepare a business valuation report or conversely analyse the report prepared by the opposing party. A business valuation report in connection with a litigation matter needs to be sufficiently thorough and complete to withstand adversarial legal proceedings. As these reports will be dissected and subject to a high degree of scrutiny, lawyers should always engage business valuation professionals who are well versed in valuation theory and the generally accepted methodologies and techniques accepted by the courts in these cases. This webinar will allow participants to understand the key inclusions required in a valuation report for an effective case preparation. Two cases decided in the High Court of Singapore will also be used to facilitate the learning process for participants.
